Each month, members of the Bacon of the Month Club (BOTMC) receive two packs of world-class award-winning gourmet bacon not sold in stores featuring one standard flavor and one unique flavored bacon. Like a fine wine, each shipment of bacon will be remembered for its distinguished taste and remarkable flavors!

Your card will never be recharged after the membership length has expired!

When will my order be shipped?

Your order will ship only on Mondays or Tuesdays each week. The reason for this is to ensure that the freshest possible product arrives at your door unspoiled and isn’t left sitting in a warehouse over a weekend or holiday. We do not ship on weekends or major holidays.

If you've been a Bacon of the Month Club (BOTMC) member before October 2024, it will ship on or after the 15th of the month until your subscription ends. So, if the 15th happens to be on a Friday, the BOTMC won’t ship until the following Monday or Tuesday.

If you've joined the Bacon of the Month Club from October 2024 going forward, your order will renew monthly on the day you placed your order and you should receive your bacon within a week of that renewal date.

How will my bacon stay fresh while being shipped?

We provide our vendors with the highest quality coolers available on the market which have been tested to meet our rigorous standards. All of our perishable products ship frozen and are packed into the coolers, along with frozen gel packs to ensure that your order will arrive at a minimum of refrigerated temperature.

That said, because bacon is smoked and cured, even if your bacon arrives warm, as long as there is no foul odor when your bacon arrives, it is safe to cook and consume.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship bacon to all 50 states in the United States. At this time we do not ship to Guam, APO/FPO. We cannot guarantee delivery to PO Boxes, any of our perishable products shipped to a PO Box is ineligible for a refund.

Why is shipping so expensive?

Shipping rates are determined by UPS and USPS and based on your address and how fast you wish to receive your product. At Bacon Scouts, we do everything we can to keep our costs as low as possible and wish we were Amazon and could offer their fast deliveries :) Shipping expenses account for lbs of bacon and gel packs and packaging. Rates are determined by the carrier and fluctuate from season to season.

Over winter months, shipping cost are usually cheaper as products stay frozen longer. We do understand shipping is expensive but we are a local mom and pop company operating out of the midwest, not Amazon. But unlike Amazon, we offer the highest quality award-winning gourmet bacon you can’t get anywhere else. Thank you for your support!

What if I need to hold my Bacon of the Month Club order for a month?

If you are traveling or planning to be out of town, no worries, simply put in a ticket on our contact page and ask for your shipment to be delayed by a month. You will not be charged that month but charges will continue the following month when your membership continues.
